Using the Compact Overlay feature, the app will always be on the top of your screen. If this is suppose to be a better version of the old app this is severely lacking. Can only send pictures and voice notes.
No draw, no video. Push notes don't disappear when you click on the app like it should in notification center.
The interface is nicer but it's lacking some emotes. Can not free call still, like in desktop version.
Overall while some things are a bit better its severely disappointing that the update has no real changes. 
Until this version improves just stick with the wp7 version as currently its the better app.
